Novosibirsk region

Novosibirsk region is located in West Siberian lowland. It is in the middle of Russia .
Territory is very big. It is 178,000 square km.
From west to east it is about 650 km . From south to north it is about 420 km .
Novosibirsk region has several natural zones: forest, forest-steppe and steppe. There are a lot of hills.
Big rivers are Ob and Om , Inja. There are a lot of small rivers.
There are about 3000 lakes in our regions. Big lakes are salt lakes Chany, Sartlan, Karashi.
Many lakes are very little. There are a lot of swamps in our region.
Man made sea is Obskoe sea.
Novosibirsk region is very beautiful!
