ODE TO THE HOK Who are the people over there? |

Our school is situated in the pleasant area where we can fulfill all students' interests and needs. It is the area where we can enjoy the four seasons in their true meaning: festival of colors in autumn, white landscapes in winter, greenish, hilly surroundings in spring and bluish horizons of the sea and sky in summer.
The school building is designed as a large country house. Students can easily move through its corridors, classrooms, cafe, gym and toilets. Moreover, the school building is especially designed to ensure students' communication over the day. It is a place where they exchange ideas and thoughts and ethos.
The House of Knowledge is inspirational as well. It encourages the spirits of all of us and of those who come to see us. Its exceptional design is in perfect harmony with nature.
Students' homes are not very far so they walk to school or ride their bikes.

School goals
Teaching takes time. Learning takes time, too. Our teachers teach things that are worth to learn. That's why we appreciate time while we are at school.
Knowledge, understanding and wisdom are co-created together with our local community.
The HOK reflects the world we live in and prepare students for the world of tomorrow.
HOW and WHY we use new technology in the process of learning and the ethics behind using ICT.
The HOK develops personality, it is community-based and it changes constantly.

You are expected to abide the rules that we have agreed upon together.
Show your good manners. Make others feel safe and hard-working.
Keep the school building and the environment clean and pleasant.
