Our families come from all over the world. They came to America in search of freedom and the opportunity to have the "American Dream."

The Toppino Family:

On my dads side I am Italian, on my moms side I am German and Native American from the Cherokee tribe. My great grandfather named was Edward had a wife named Betty, but she died. He got married again to Elizabeth, she had a child named Paul. Paul  is my grandfather, my grandfather  got married to Jan , she  is my grandmother, Jan and Paul had one son named Kevin, he  is my Dad. In conclusion my family traveled from Italy and Germany .

The Kerwin Family:

I'll tell you some about my family tree.  I am the son of Kenneth Kerwin  who grew up in Stanberry, Missouri and attended college at Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, Missouri.  My mom,  Kristen McAuliffe Kerwin grew up in Kansas City and went to college at the University of Saint Mary's at Notre Dame.  I also have a sister who was born about 4 years before me.  She currently goes to Park Hill South High School in Riverside, Missouri.  My dad, Ken's parents were James Kerwin and Wilma Messner Kerwin.  My parents on my mom's side of the family were Joseph McAuliffe and and Imogene Haeglen McAuliffe.

The Kovac family:

My family came from Croatia and all over Europe.  The name "Kovac," means "Smith" when translated from Slavik to English.  Some of the countries I have in my heritage include England, Italy, and Croatia.  Some of my great great grandparents came over on a small boat.  Some of my family ended up in Pennsylvania, Missouri, and Iowa.  My mom was born in Pennsylvania, and my father was born in Kansas.  My dad went to Ward High school.  My mother married my father when she was in her early twenties.   My father married her in his thirties.  I was born in Missouri, and I am now eleven years old.

On my mom's side, my great great grandmother is still  alive.  My great great grandfather, however, died several years ago.  My real grandfather divorced my grandma and then died some years later.  On my father's side, my grandfather died when I was young, although, my grandma is still around.  Also, on my mom's side, I have some relatives in Saipan.  Even though most of them are deceased, almost all of my grandfathers fought in a war.  About three of them fought in the same war on the same side, and didn't know it.  My Great Great Grandma's soup recipe is one that is hard to get.  Her daughter, my Great Grandma, likes to trick you, but I have it for you. Check the family recipes link.

My family first generation great great grandfather was from Ireland he moved to America.
My great grandmother was 106 year old at the time she die. From that generation my grandmother  Regie was born, she married my grandfather Ralph. They are very nice, my grandfather loves to play golf.

The Killen family:

My great great great great Uncle Freedrick Killen sailed on the Mayflower.  Beyond that the only other thing I know about him is that my Grandpa Freedrick Killen was named after him.  My Grandpa Freedrick Killen was in the Vietnam, Korean, and World War 2.  He didn't die in any of the wars, but he fought in all of them.  Six months after he came home and retired from duty he died from cancer of the lungs.  My grandpa while being in the army was posted in Baltimore, Malta, and Ireland that is where my ancestors are from also.  My dad usually never got to see my grandpa, his dad, because he was always away during the wars.   But every Monday night when my grandpa was coming home he would always take my dad to Pizza Shoppe and they would get a large pizza and watch Monday night football.  Sadly my grandpa divorced my grandma when my dad was in 4th grade.  But my dad was alright after a while.  On my mom's side of the family she was born in Savannah, Missouri.  My grandpa on my mom's side of the family was the top running back in the state in his senior year of high school but in his freshman year at Missouri he broke his knee and couldn't run very fast ever again.  My mom had three brothers and sisters, two brothers: Uncle Tim and uncle Dirk who are both married.  And the One sister is Aunt Cara she is single. My great grandma on my mom's side of the family was named Margret Clark.
