Gluskab, Friend of ManGluskab created the culture for the humans. Gluskab realized that if man hunted too much they could destroy the ecosystem. Because of this, he went to A-gaskw, Grandmother Woodchuck, and asked for her help. She took the hair from her stomach and made it into a bag where Gluskab put all the animals in. This is why Woodchucks do not have hair on their belly. Afterward A-gaskw told Gluskab that man would die without the animals so he let them go back into the wild.
