Gluskab

Gluskab, Friend of Man

Gluskab created the culture for the humans. Gluskab realized that if man hunted too much they could destroy the ecosystem. Because of this, he went to A-gaskw, Grandmother Woodchuck, and asked for her help. She took the hair from her stomach and made it into a bag where Gluskab put all the animals in. This is why Woodchucks do not have hair on their belly. Afterward A-gaskw told Gluskab that man would die without the animals so he let them go back into the wild.
