HathorHathor was the Eygptian goddess of music, dance, love, and joy. People also associated her with distant lands so she was also the goddess of deserts and turquoise mines. She was protective. Besides appering as a woman with horns and the sun disk, she appered as a cow oar a woman with cow ears. She was also the wife of Horus. A temple was built in her honer at Dendera.
