Loki is the son of two giants called Fárbauti and Laufey. He is sometimes mentioned as the god of mischief, even though he's not a god.He is the father of Jörmungandr, the sea serpent; Fenrir the giant wolf preordained to slay Odin at the time of Ragnarök; Hel, ruler of the realm of the dead. At Ragnarok, it was predicted that Heimdall and Loki will slay each other.
