Egypt
SethSeth (in Greek), or Set (In Egypt), is the egyptian of the desert, one of the two biomes that consist Egypt. He was associated with sandstorms and caravans. Due to some mistakes in translation, he was also the god of foreigners. He was thought of as a chief god and immensly powerful. He was the son of Geb and Nut, the gods of the earth and the sky. He was the brother of Nephthys, the goddess of fertile land around the Nile, Osiris, the god of death, and Isis, the goddess of life. He was depicted as an unknown creature, called the Set animal or Typhonic Beast. It has a curved snout , square ears, forked tail, and canine body, or sometimes as a human with only the head of the Set animal. Scientists have said it is similar to traits of the Aardvark and Jackal, inhabitants of Egypt. He and Horus are believed to have been enemies, and Set gouged one of Horus' eyes, explaining why the moon is not as bright as the sun.
