Roman Mythology

Pluto (God of Death)
Pluto is the Roman god of death. Plutus the god of wealth was the beginning of how Pluto came to be. Since jewels and other gems were found in the physical underworld the Romans created a god named Pluto. Since this gifts were mined deep in the ground Pluto was named the god of the physical underworld. This was then related to the Greek god of the underworld, Hades. Hades was also known as the god of death so soon Pluto was also recognized for being the god of death.
