Tyr

Tyr

Tyr is the Norse god of war and justice. His name itself means "God." Like Thor and Balder, he is a son of Odin. He is most known for the story of Fenrir. Fenrir was a wolf that the gods tried to bound. The gods made a magical bound made of various items. Fenrir would only be tied down if one of the gods put their hand in his mouth. Tyr agreed, and when Fenrir found out he had been tricked, he bit of Tyr's hand. Fenrir will be tied until Ragnarok.
