Tornado vs. DestroyerIt was a normal day for Tornado, the ultimate superhero of all time, until he saw a shocking news story on channel 5 news. The new villain in the city of Manhattan has just taken the hard drives of every bank, containing all the information about their current customers and recent customers. It contained information such as where they lived, their phone numbers, their ZIP codes and all their personal information. He is now flying on a plane with all the hard drives, going to an undetermined location. He is also reported to have stolen a plane from the JFK airport. This was a call for Tornado. Tornado had now turned in to a gust of wind, flying to the airport, where he questioned many employees which plane had been taken. He received a picture of the stolen plane and had now exited the building, turning into a more fierce gust of wind. What Tornado did not know was that the evil villain was none other than Destroyer, equipped a robotic suit and many gadgets and strength. Tornado was up for a big battle. Tornado was flying extremely fast, looking for the plane that matched his picture. He had found a similar plane so he turned into an invisible wind and looked inside the window, smacking his head on the window, looking inside only to find people in the plane, as the plane was rocking by the smack of his head. Tornado was a great superhero but also a bit of a clumsy guy. Tornado became angry, turning into an intense and dangerous wind, flying all over the world, looking for the villain. He flew in the skies of Russia, the Caribbean and even Montreal, Arizona and Columbia. He was now getting frustrated, because there was no sign of the plane anywhere. He turned into a huge storm, raining and thundering over the many cities he passed. He was the Manhattan's only hope. He now had a glimpse of a plane. As it got closer, he started to see the resemblance. A slight sigh of relief appeared on his face. He looked in the window of this plane, seeing no one on board. This was a good sign. He went to the front of the plane, as invisible as can be and looked in the cockpit window. He gasped aloud when the Destroyer's big robotic suit was in the cockpit, driving the plane to the secret destination. Tornado thought that is would be a good idea to defeat him on the plane because he can fly so he won't get thrown off. His first idea was to create a tornado that would suck the plane in and terminate the destroyer, but that wouldn't work our since he had to return all of the hard drives to the banks that they were taken from. He created a lighting bolt that zapped the plane door and released it from the rest of the plane. Tornado entered and sealed the open gap of the plane with ice so that none of the hard drives would be sucked out. He tried to enter the cockpit, but the Destroyer was holding it shut. Once again, Tornado zapped the cockpit door, opening the door where the villain was situated. Tornado and the Destroyer had encountered once before, when Tornado foiled his nuclear missile attack when he turned into a tornado, sucked the missiles in, and launched them into space. It was then when people depended on Tornado to save the world crime after crime. The fight was on. Destroyer had taken out one of his gadgets, which was a blade. He threw it at Tornado but the blade went right through him, because he was half tornado/wind. Tornado tried to zap him with a huge lighting bolt, but Destroyers mechanical suit absorbed the electricity. Tornado got frustrated. He turned into a mini tornado, spinning about, while shooting a beam of ice at the Destroyer. The criminal was frozen solid. Tornado wanted to terminate him once and for all so he froze him even more, and threw him into the Pacific Ocean. He would not unfreeze so he would eventually die of lack of oxygen. Tornado had to now change the direction of the plane and return it to the airport, without damaging any of the hard drives. He exited the plane, became an enormous gust of wind and went under the plane, carrying it down slowly. Eventually, he reached the airport and landed the plane. There were reporters all over the scene. Tornado was a bit cocky so he was showing off, saying that it was a piece of cake and that he was too strong for the Destroyer. He had the NYPD come to the airport and take all the hard drives back to the banks where they belonged. After that miraculous performance, the world was free of crime, because of all the criminals that were petrified of Tornado. Not only did he get the front page in the New York Times, he received the "Most Progressed Superhero of All-Time" title. Main Storyteller: Ryan H, Lower Canada College |
