Music is important part of teenager life. Now music became more available with appearing of flash media players and mobile phones that can play music.
Teens listen to different kind of music. The most popular is pop music. It helps to relax or serves as background when people do different activities.
Also popular in Russia are rock music, reggae.
If a teenager belongs to youth group, like punk, he listens to music that is supposed in this group.
Most of teenagers like to listen to music loudly, which is reason for conflicts with family members.

Teenager Music in Mexico

Music defines personality, and it heavily influences it. Like in most countries, people like commercial music, (Pop music that receives considerable airplay in MTV and the local radio stations). However, some tennagers also like rock music, Reggaeton, banda, grupera, vallenatos and corridos. this city (Monterrey) is particularly known for being home of the best Mexican rock bands. There are few radio stations who play rock music, so people who like rock like to enjoy their music in an iPod, D99 (the radio station who broadcasts rock music) or a cd.
