Ladainian Tomlinson was born on June 23,1979 in Rosebud, Texas. He is 27 years old. He went to the University High School in Waco, Texas, He played Football, Baseball, and Basketball. He played the position of Linebacker. After he graduated from high school, he went to Texas Christan University where he played football. He played the position of Running Back. In 2001, he was picked by the San Diego Chargers in the 1st round of the NFL draft.

LaDainian Tomlinson joined the San Diego Chargers in 2001 and still plays there. He went to the San Diego Chargers of the NFL because he really good rushing and scoring touchdowns.
He got 3 awards. LaDainian holds the all-time NFL record for single season touchdowns (31). He has the all-time NFL record for the most points in a single season (186).

LaDainian Tomlinson has given a lot to the children of San Diego and Texas. He set up a foundation that provides food for families at Thanksgiving, gives gifts to patients at Children's hospital during Christmas, golf tournament and football camps. One football camp held in Texas is run by Walter Brown, LaDainian's former high school coach. Over 300 kids have attended LT's football camps.
