Generation Y want
their jobs to accommodate their family and
personal lives. They want jobs with
flexibility, telecommuting options and the
ability to go part time or leave the
workforce temporarily when children are in
the picture. Self-fulfillment is a
high priority for them. In light of
the terrorist attacks around the world and
the increase in natural disasters,
Generation Y has learned that life is short
so they want to make the most of it.
For many that means spending less time at
work and more time enjoying family and
friends.
