With the rise of video games and other new technologies it probable that people
will spend more time on the new electronic devices and less time on sports.
Right now, more and more time being spent on video games. This is more likely to increase throughout our lifetime.
The work day is expected to become shorter because
new technologies will make jobs easier and more productive. This will free up
more time. At the
same time people might be more focused on their free time and will probably take
extra class at their local colleges in their free time.
People will also be
spending more time on the internet. Teenagers
 in our generation spend a lot of
time on the internet, and when our generation becomes adults we will still be
spending time on the internet. Then you also need to consider that with the
coming of internet 2, the internet will become available to more people, and
there will be more to do on the new version of the internet. Due to this, I
believe that more people will be spending their free time on the internet. This
will take away from all the sports activities
