The Future of AIDS and HIV
By William W (WM)
AIDS, or acquired immunodeficiency syndrome, is the result of HIV, or the human immunodeficiency virus. HIV can be transferred by contact with an infected person’s bodily fluids, like blood. The future of AIDS and HIV is a scary one, as it has already reached pandemic status and is likely to continue spreading. There is almost no way to prevent a person from HIV infection if exposed to the virus. However, methods are being developed and there is hope for a cure for HIV in the future. For now, though, there are only treatments.

Ribbon created by : William WrightAs things are now right now, HIV is something that our generation needs to be well aware of all around the world. If we neglect to protect ourselves from this virus, the virus will spread. The future could be a very hard time if HIV and AIDS are running rampant through all nations, which is what will likely happen if a cure is never found and we ignore the prominence of this virus. If we find a cure for AIDS and HIV, the pandemic is likely to go away for the near future. Otherwise, we will have to work hard and take care of ourselves to prevent the spread of AIDS.
