High school students today are growing up
with the very real threat of terrorism all
around them. It is said that generations are
shaped by their childhood experiences and then
defined by actions taken in early adulthood.
Some experts feel Afghanistan, the Iraq War and
the "War on Terror" may become the conflicts
that define Gen Y.
There are over 70 countries still ruled by
dictators. There are no legal means to
remove them from power. These dictators
suppress the freedoms of speech and religion as
well as the right to fair trial. Some also
commit torture, execute opponents and starve
their own people. What effect will these leaders
have on the world? How will Gen Y deal
with them?
